"OFF THE WORKBENCH "

This weeks offering from the workbench see's the third vehicle we will be releasing in March, a tanker, looking to do a upgrade kit for this with a dozer blade, and fighting platforms, and even guards for the back wheels of the cab

Also I have finally finished Te'to, this model has been sat in green form for over 7 years, so a big thank you to you all for your kind comments that encouraged me to finally get round to painting it.

That's it for this time, hopefully by the end of the week I should show the Emperor's Children from the vault, until next time have fun !
Cheers Dave

    1. Thank you Roy, been fitting in a little and often to get Te'to finished, have enjoyed getting the vehicles done, and will probably get more done at a latter point

  3. Right now you're just doing it on purpose!! I love that tanker, though the scene in Mad Mad 2 where Virginia Hey is shot and dragged of the back of one and under the wheels is one of the saddest things I've ever seen in a film.

Cheers Roger (off for a little weep now).

    1. Sorry Roger, will try harder to ward you off this drug ! LOL I remember the scene well with the mechanic following quickly after her, really makes you go OH NO !

    2. Yep, but at least I didn't fancy the mechanic!
    3. There is that ! LOL, guess I was saddened as he was a true under dog, who made the best of it, and without whom the rest of the tribe had no real mechanic

  4. Great stuff Dave :-)
Brilliant choice of palette for Te'to, palanquin and base which along with your first rate brushwork REALLY makes him eye-catching! The tanker looks due for a jetwash though ;-)

    1. Thank you Greg, pleased with the contrasts to make him pop. I think the tanker might need more than a jetwash

  8. Marvellous work on Te'to, Dave, it seems it takes you as long to sculpt a mini as it does me to paint one LOL :-)

Hmmm... that tanker is awesome - what's it dimensions please - thinking about basing it etc as I do all my vehicles. Upgrade kit sounds good too - will either the tanker or kit be with you for "Salute"?

  9. Thank you Simon, the fastest I've sculpted a model is one day from start to finish.
The tanker is 245 mm long and 50 mm wide, will definitely have the tanker with us at Salute and hopefully the add on kit as well

  10. I saw the tanker on your workbench (well, on the window sill in your annexe), but didn't realise it was your own work. Very nice, Dave. Hmmm...maybe a Roxxon logo on the side for use in a Supers game.

Te'to is lovely and looks completely different to when he was part of the Jackson Five.

Quick query - when will the Nisari and Creminisci be available on general release?

    1. Thank you Jez, had the basics of the tanker 3D printed then added the details. Will have a look at theRoxxon logo.
Was pleased with how Te'to turned out, with how much plastic surgery the Jacksons have its not surprising ! LOL
The Nisari and others will be out some time in April and will be available at Salute
