ARMOURED APRIL

So April's challenge this month on azazelx was two fold, firstly was to finish a squad of armoured troops. I actually managed two units, which I was very surprised about, firstly was my riot stormtroopers

and secondly I managed to finish the last three stormtroopers I needed to paint. Is this the last ? Probably not as I think I need a lot more, but I want to get some variation so may need to do some conversions on any more I buy. What would be great is several different leg options and multiple torso variations so I can have a multitude of options.

The Second part of Azazel's challenge was to do a army shot, so here is all my Imperial force that is finished

As a reward to myself for a) finishing all my stormtroopers and b) all the hard work I put in on the run up to Salute, I got a few new additions for Star Wars, I've finished the 3 FFG models I bought. Firstly is Green Greedo

Secondly I got the Wookie Warriors pack, I converted one so they didn't look exactly the same and did two different colour schemes based on the picture below.

I also got some more models from Tritex Games but I will be showing them at a later date, once I've finished the conversions.

    Great work on all of them, Dave. I particularly like the group shot of your Imperial forces. They look very formidable.

      Thank you Bryan, There's a lot I would like to add to them, but it all takes time especially as I'm going to have to build a lot of it ! LOL

    Awesome posting, Dave. Great to see this 'new site' is still going to be the definitive place to visit for all wargaming "Star Wars" :-)

      Thank you Simon, no plans on slowing up on my Star Wars project anytime soon, so your safe on that one, although I would like to do some more 2000 ad stuff as well

    Wonderful job Dave, the Imperial force is looking particularly menacing at the moment. I love the Wookie colours too, which reminds me that I need to do mine at some point.

      Thank you Michael, I'm thinking I need a lot to put out a full garrison stationed in Mos Eisley, I'm currently up to date on all my wookies at the moment, but Tritex have a few I've got my eye on ! LOL

    Great work, Dave - an awesome Imperial Collection to start with, and then followed by some really nice work on the troops and scummers! I really like Greedo in particular!

    Wow mate, your Empire lot look flippin fantastic!

    Greedo looks so much better than the Wizkids one I have too. One day, maybe I'll be brave like you and repaint that horde'o'pre-painted' plastic that's sat in a box in my place? LOL
