" OFF THE WORKBENCH "

For this instalment I have an eclectic mix to show you, first up is a new post apocalyptic car, this one has a fighting platform in the back instead of it's normal back seats.

Next up is the 3D print ready for casting of our post apocalyptic falcon, this is a model I've wanted for as long as I can remember. The strange colouring is the resin I used to fill the print ready for moulding.

Last up inspired by all your kind comments, I've started painting T'eteko. First up is the completed base

Here is the WIP shots of the palanquin

Once I've finished the Palanquin I'll start T'eto but have found he needs a couple of repairs first.
Hope you all have a great week, so until next time have fun !
Cheers Dave

  1. Dave, those two post apoc vehicles are must haves for me. The rust effect on the pick up truck is superb.
You're off to a great start on T'eteko. I'm sure he'll look awesome when finished.

    1. Thank you Phil, like to add local fauna to scenery and bases, as even in battle they carry on with their normal life. It especially fits with lizard men as their presence summons up frogs lizards and snakes

  3. Oh wow... that second vehicle is especially nice, Dave - they both are tbh, but that Falcon looks like a sweet ride indeed. Really enjoying these postings, and I'm delighted that you've taken to this blogging lark so well - hopefully the blog will increase demand for your excellent wares :-)

    1. Thank you Simon, it was actually one of your blog posts that inspired me to make some post apocalyptic vehicles, as you said they were hard to find for 28 mm figures, have got one more to show on release day and I've saved the biggest for last !
Never intended to start blogging, but have now been hooked, it also gives me an outlet for my own hobby bits that wouldn't normally be seen

  4. Nice couple of vehicles there, Dave. I am quite tempted by the Falcon, as one of my Ghostbusters needs a muscle car, being based on Vin Diesel. Might need to add a light bar to the roof though...

    1. Thank you Jez, Like the sound of a Vin Diesel Ghostbuster, would the light bar be the same as Ecto 1 ?

    2. Potentially. The giant orange light on the most recent version of the Ectomobile just isn't right.
    3. I try to forget the remake as much as possible, and remember the originals fondly

  5. Each of those photo's gets a thumbs up from me. I especially like the paint work on the small fauna

    1. That's awesome Andy, I liked the Capri which was the British equivalent and owned one, liked the American Mustang, and when I saw the Falcon, went " I want one !"
One day I'd like to have a working version of this iconic car
