"WORKBENCH UPDATE "

made some progression from the post earlier this week, and have now cast and painted our new post apocalyptic falcon

Have gone for a very dirty look, as I can't imagine having time to clean the car while fending off gangs. Thinking of making a gyro copter and pilot to go with these vehicles.
Have also finished Te'to's palanquin and have started the lizard himself, will show him once finished.

Jez has visited the workshop today, I had a great time talking hobby showing models and we even got in a game of Death Match, Jez did amazingly well defeating my Ceratid, then managing to kill two beasts as well, before falling to his wounds. Many thanks for coming up Jez had a great time.
That's it for today so until next time have fun !
Cheers Dave

  1. Marvellous work, Dave, that Interceptor looks amazing, and I love the contrast between the gold and grey on your throne. Looking forward to seeing Te'to - and a congrats to Jez for proving so successful at your game ;-)

    1. Thank you Simon, after painting such rusty cars it was more of a challenge to paint especially as it has windows instead of armour plating, the palanquin had a good balance of textures to create enough interest and Te'to has all his base layers down and shades so onto the details next.
The dice gods were definitely with Jez, I have never rolled so many skulls in one game !

  5. I was lucky enough to see the Falcon in 'the flesh', as well as a few other WIPs, which I shall be keeping under my hat. Thank you so much for allowing me to pay the workshop a visit and for giving me an insight into the creative process. It was very much aporeciated and very interesting.

And my Revilli did prettu well in tge Arena, taking out Dave's Ceratid, a lava salamander and a recnac, before falling to the horny fists of a horned hominid. Go Death Match Purple Ranger!

    1. You are most welcome Jez, perfect guest and was a most enjoyable day. Your Revilli did really well must have been the purple armour distracting all the opponents ! LOL

  7. Love the paintjob on the Falcon Dave - and I had to smile when your comment made me think about post apocalypse gangs setting up rival car wash businesses ;-)
If the palanquin is anything to go by, old Te'to should look marvelous :-)
