I'M SORRY SIR YOUR LUGGAGE SEEMS TO HAVE ENDED UP IN ANOTHER GALAXY !

For my last post for the challenge I have a couple more vehicles today, first is the Starspeeder 1000, now if any of you have been to a Disney theme park, you may recognise this vehicle from the Star Tours ride, and may have even taken a trip on one. The model is a 3D filament print that my wife got me for our anniversary, the colour scheme I've gone for is the version you see in Florida.

The model actually came with the European symbol on the front, but I covered it with some plasticard and greenstuff, and then painted the correct symbol on the front. I haven't gone with my normal weathered look, as the filament print was so rough that adding washes and glazes would have shown it up more. I've also got another speeder painted the V-35 that appeared in the original movie, and then had a bigger scene in the extended version of New Hope, as the filament print on this one was a lot smoother, I've weathered it up to look like the movie version.

That's all for todays post, I will be doing the challenge round up post in a couple of weeks to allow everyone time to get there last models posted up ( just make sure to mark it on your post that they were completed by the end of February) so until next time stay safe, and have fun !

DEMONIFUGE

Back in the 1990's Games Workshop started a monthly comic called Warhammer Monthly ( original name ! LOL) it had stories from all their realms in it, some being single episode stories, while others ran over multiple issues. One of the stories was called Demonifuge, and in it we met a character called Ephral Stern, who was a sister of Battle, but with some questions about whether she had been tainted by Chaos. GW have released a couple of models for her for 40K the limited edition one I had I gave to a friend, along with all the other sisters models I had, when his army got stolen, so never got round to painting her, but I do have a collector series version by Forgeworld that is 4 inches tall ( or 100 cm) and decided to paint her for my challenge and also Fembruary.

Not much else to add, as there was no conversion, and painting wise, tried to do the best I could within the standard colours she is shown in, that's all for this post, hoping to get one more in before the end of the month, but will see how that goes, so until next time, stay safe, and have fun !

IS THAT A NABOO STARFIGHTER ?

That's what it started of as ! Today I have the Madalorians starfighter, so why another vehicle so quickly, well as my wife bought me another vehicle for our anniversary and I've ordered another speeder, I thought I needed to get on with the two I had for my birthday. The Slave 1 needs a lot of work so I went with the N-1 as this needed a lot less conversion. The first thing I needed to do was remove the fixing lugs that the minifig models come with to bolt on additional weapons ( do children these days really need additional guns to want to play with these ? LOL) I cut off any part of the lug that protruded and then filled the remaining hole with greenstuff, plus fill any screw holes.

Next I moved on to the cockpit, and added a false floor with plasticard, and also made a seat more fitting for this scale using a piece of plasticard for the base plate, and then greenstuff for the seat itself, I also added the head cushion to the detail plate that was already moulded into the cockpit.

The only other bit I needed to add was some barrels for the top guns, this was done with plastic rod, drilled into the housing, the rest was all down to the painting, I've also included a reference picture below to show how well I've done or not ! LOL

That's all for today, so until next time, stay safe, and have fun !

EVER SINCE THE XP-38 CAME OUT, THEY JUST AREN'T IN DEMAND

For me this isn't true, as soon as they released the X-34 Landspeeder, I knew I wanted one, and put it on my wish list each year, and this year I got one. I've gone with the colour of Luke's and adjusted the driver to look more like Luke, by adding his poncho, and changing the legs to match Luke's attire.

I've gone for the weathered look you see in the movie, and I'm happy with the end result. As I now have two sets of barriers that you get with the Legion core box set, I thought it was about time I finished the first set, there are two types in the box, and I've only done one with graffiti on it.

This next set of four is the other type, the one with graffiti in this set was painted a while ago, but needed the control panel on the back to be finished, and match the next three.

That's all for today, so until next time stay safe and have fun !

THIS IS NO CAT LADY

One of the cool models I got for Christmas was this 3D print of the Togruta elder that appears in the series Jedi Tales in Ahsoka's village, for me I'm just going to use her as an old lady on Tatooine, I've painted her in the colours from the series, and have included the reference below.

Next today I have a squad of rebels from the Legion core box, as I've already painted a squad of these in the past, I swapped the arms round to add variation. I didn't look at the colours I used on the previous ones, and just used my normal palette of colours, I did give them all white gloves to mark out the squad.

Last today is a couple of Swoop Bikers, the kit comes with multiple heads and weapons, which will help on future conversions, the one on the left I used the head that closely represents the swoop biker that caused the Ronto to rear in the extended version of a New Hope. You can use the bikers as mercenaries or gangers, but I'm just going to have them as citizens riding around, probably scaring Jawas ! LOL

That's all for today, hopefully next time I should have the X-34 landspeeder done, but we'll see, so until next time stay safe, and have fun !

ONLY IMPERIAL STORMTROOPERS ARE THAT ACCURATE

The immortal phrase from Obi Wan Kenobi, that started the whole debate, whether stormtroopers were really that accurate, as the movies and shows have shown that actually the Tuskens are normally better shots than the stormtroopers ! LOL Well I've got another squad of TK's finished to help add more firepower, so that if they are terrible shots, maybe I can take out some rebels with massed fire power ! LOL

While I've been working on this squad I've also got another two scout bikers done as well, which now brings me up to a squad of six, and as their from the starter box, I now have the elusive model facing backwards to fire his pistol.

While I've been working on these Imperials and also the ones I've shown previously I decided to get the Darth Vader from the starter set painted as well, I've given him an Icey base for when I finally get onto the Hoth side of things, which will be a while away ! LOL

Tried a few new ways on the black to try and differentiate between the different materials, hopefully it comes across in the pictures, I've still got one more Vader model that Frank sent me, and I think I'm going to attempt an OSL colour scheme on him as if he's in a corridor like at the end of Rogue One. I've got one more model today who isn't technically Imperial but does work with them, Baylan Skoll, who was played by Ray Stevenson in the recent series Ahsoka, before he passed away. this was a present at Christmas from one of my daughters. As a character it was an interesting one, no longer Jedi, but not Sith either, hence his lightsabre was orange. As IU didn't have any orange lightsabre rod, I used the red, and put a yellow contrast over it, as that's orange. This model was a 3D print, and the quality was very good.

That's all for today, so until next time, stay safe and have fun !
