GOING BERSERK

Not a large post today, but I have managed to finish three models, a trio of Uruk Hai Berserkers. Colour wise I've tried to match the movie reference as close as possible, but I've kept the hand prints minimal, and in different places that I spotted in the movie.

These were a good test for the colours of the Uruk Hai, as I have a lot more to paint in varying forms. That's all for this very short post, so until next time stay safe, and have fun !

Cheers Dave

    1. Thank you Suber, had to do a mix for the highlight on the skin, as I didn't have one that was just right ! LOL

  5. Quite possibly my fave figures from the LotR range. They also do a solid job on the tabletop in MSBG. Great paint-jobs on them too. Were these good old metal ones or "gulp", Failcast..?

    1. Thank you Simon, I liked them in the movie, so was happy to find some in the box, these are the original metals, thankfully, as I really don't like failcast ! LOL

  6. These look straight out of the movie! GW sells paints that work perfectly for Uruk-Hai skin and it looks like you were able to track down the right colors :)

    1. Thank you Jeff, I didn't realise that GW had done specific paints to do these, as I ended up mixing the highlight colour as couldn't find what I was looking for, but that's the same as the original Eavy Metal painter did when GW first got the licence, wish I'd kept his mix sheet ! LOL

    1. Thank you Brian, probably be a while before I do any more Uruk's as Monster May(hem) is rapidly approaching and I've got a few models lined up for that.
