A MANDALORIAN WITH A JETPACK IS A WEAPON

Todays post is my entry for Fembruary, the four female Mandalorians from the set I got for Christmas, the first one is Ursa Wren the current leader of clan Wren, and Sabine's mother, I've tried to follow the colours and markings as exactly as I could.

The next is a unnamed member of Clan Wren, but I've followed some artwork I found.

Next I have Bo-Katan Kryze, the current leader of clan Kryze, and at one point ruler of all of Mandalore at the end of the Clone Wars.

For the clan Kryze follower, I've gone with the one shown in the series "The Mandalorian" and was played by a wrestler Sasha Banks who was part of the WWE at the time of filming.

That's all the Mandalorian models I have at this time finished, and wraps up this post, so until next time stay safe and have fun !

Cheers Dave

  1. Very nice work as always mate, I couldn't quite get my head around the thing in the series that it was so awful for a Mandalorian to remove his helmet (looks like there's more on this in the next series too), yet Kryze and her cronies do it (along with a few others like the one in Rebels)?

Anyway as I said lovely work and great colour matching too.

    Cheers Roger.

    1. Thank you Roger, in answer to the helmet thing, a child of the watch will not remove their helmet, these are a sub cult of Death Watch which started during the Clone Wars, and Bo-Katan was a part of, so they are all linked but follow different paths, there see clear as mud ! LOL

  5. Nice Fembruary entries! I like the models and the paints. I had no idea that the actress who played Bo-Katan was a WWE wrestler!

    1. Thank you Brian, Bo-Katan was played by Katee Sackoff, who has also appeared in Battlestar Galactica the remake, and one of the Riddick movies, she also voiced the character in all the animated series. Her sidekick was the wrestler, sorry for the confusion mate.

    2. No worries, I googled her later and found out the Mandalorian leader wasn't played by a wrestler. Which made more sense to me, because they likely picked her for her acting ability.

    3. It's funny the number of wrestlers that have transitioned to acting, and the studios seem to like them as they already know how to perform.

  7. That freehand takes a steady hand and it came out really well, Dave! You're going to have quite the army of Mandalorians when all is said and done. I feel like that has to be the Emperor's worst nightmare! :)

    1. Thank you Jeff, freehand isn't something I do a massive amount of, but do like to keep pushing my skills. If I can give the Emeror nightmares then I must be doing something right ! LOL
