SMALL PROGRESS

With all the building, decorating and work, I haven't found a lot of time for hobby, but have at least managed to complete two more of the Cantina denizens.

First up is Nabrun Leids, who can be seen propping up the bar as Wuher shouts that "we don't serve they're kind" to Luke.

This was a scratch built model, but I have taken a cast of the main body and head to be able to quickly do Chall Bekan a very similar denizen.

Next up Sal'torr Kal Fas another denizen who likes to prop up the bar, him and his brother Hrchek appear in several shots in the film.

To save a bit of time on this model, I used a model I'd previously cast and added a Trondoshan head, then adapted the costume to fit.

As I said at the beginning of the post only small progress this week, but hopefully can pick up the pace a bit and get some models painted for Fembruary as well as finishing my challenge models, so until next time stay safe and have fun !

Cheers Dave

  5. Lovely work on these, Dave, and it's always good to see the lesser characters getting some love. Chall Bekan is my fave, the gasmask looks excellent!

  6. Great stuff Dave! So who's left? You have to be close to having everyone who had front screen time and not in the background.

Thank you Ivor, got Chall the silver version of the one at the top, Zutton, the hunchback version of Snaggletooth (palitoy's name for Takeel who's normal height) two more spacemen, then there is 9 humans that are dotted around the scene, then onto the denizens of Jabba's palace and finish them ( currently on the 4 Nikto greens)

    1. Thank you Dai, got one last post of aliens and spacemen to do, then all I've got left are some humans, and then the building itself, but that will probably get done in the season of scenery challenge latter this year
