A FISTFUL OF MINIATURES

As I continue to work through my Weird Wild West miniatures for Ann's paint the crap you already own challenge, I've managed to get some more finished.

The first one is an Orc chef, the model comes with a vegetarian option of a turnip as well, but I went for the squirrel. Not sure I'd want to eat anything this guy made, but I'm sure with enough hot sauce ( the bottle in his belt) it might taste okay ! LOL

In Minaturemen's second Kickstarter they wanted to add in some female models one of which is the female orc above which they named Annie Orkly, was fun to sculpt, and paint.

Next we have one of the Dwarves, this one has a farmer vibe protecting his land.

Last today is the female blacksmith, because dwarves are associated with forging we decided to do a female as this was less common.

That's all for today, so until next time stay safe and have fun !

Cheers Dave

And also, squirrel isn’t half bad tasting, truth be told

  2. Great stuff mate, I like the lady blacksmith.

Also not to get off "topic" but does squirrel have a hazelnut in every bite?

    Cheers Roger.

  3. These all look great but I like the lady blacksmith best. Sometimes its nice when miniatures are a little more mundane and grounded in reality versus super muscular warriors like the last two are as well. Nice job painting the hot piece of metal blacksmith is working on!

    1. Thank you Jeff, like to add reality into sculpting as much as possible, and background models can add another level to gaming.
Watch a lot of Forged in fire, so had a good idea on what a coal forge piece of metal would like ! LOL

    1. Thank you Phil, the Orc chef does have a lot of character, the female blacksmith can be a bit polarising because of her large forearms, but if you were swinging that hammer day in and day out, you'd have pretty developed forearms ! LOL

  5. I must admit that the Irk chef made me chuckle, great sculpt and paintjob too. The others are all good in their own way, but the chef stands out imho.
