THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN RIDE

Now I'm not saying this group are good guys, they could be either, but they are all riding. Below are some individual shots of all seven. I've kept the colours similar to the on foot versions.

I've also got some new scenery painted up for the realm, that will still count for Ann's challenge as the crew member dropped them off over a year ago.

Plus I've finished the sixth member for the desperado's I showed last time, a Scorpid. This creature is evolving to a more human form , hence only 4 legs, and part of his body being upright. May just have him as the werewolf's pet, or I could give him sentience haven't decided yet.

These last pictures are for Ann's paint the crap you already own painting challenge as are all the pictures above, to make it easier for her to have all the pictures in one post, have grouped the different races together, so you didn't have to scroll through all the pictures I've already posted !

Next may be to do with Monster May(hem) or it might be some Star Wars, we'll have to see. So until next time stay safe and have fun !

Cheers Dave

    1. Thank you Roger, indeed I wouldn't want to be the dung collector in this realm ! LOL It has been fun to do, I've got one model left to finish, but waiting on bits to finish the Minaturemen line, then I may add some more to my range as well.

  2. Wow! What a cracking posting, Dave. Those Orc riders in particular look terrific, especially the one carrying the winchester rifle. Great idea, sculpting and painting. Marvellous stuff.

    1. Thank you Simon, they were in the first Kickstarter and proved pretty popular, might do some mounted versions of the one's I created recently when I find a suitable beast for them to ride

    1. Thank you Matt, glad you've enjoyed the posts, they've been fun to do. I will return to the weird wild west, as I have some gaming ideas, scenery and more models in mind, but I've got a sci-fi idea I need to get done first

  5. Orcs on Bison! What a clever and cool combination. I don't know why but I think cacti are extremely cool looking so I love those terrain pieces as well. Really nice job getting all of these weird west minis done in rapid succession. They look great and are something to be proud of!

    1. Thank you Jeff, we thought with how orcs are heavier set than humans we needed something more robust than a horse for them to ride, so ended up settling on Bison.
Our previous Cacti have proved popular over the years, so having some variation available made good business sense.
Can't believe it's taken so long to get round to painting so many of these models, but felt inspired by so many other great members of the community working on wild west models, I felt inspired

  8. Boy, I can't wait to see the game in which these miniatures get their debut. I love how you have mounted and foot variants for the same figure. That's all CLASS.

    1. Thank you Matthew, I am planning on doing mounted versions of the lizardmen as well, and have discussed with Minaturemen about the possibility of doing mounted dwarfs as well at some point, which will all add to the gaming experience. Currently just waiting on a couple of bits to arrive for the opening scenario, then should have a game to post up.
