IS IT SAFE

For my first Apocalypse Me post, I've been working on some tents, didn't I do that on a previous year, yes I did, but I sold that one as Joe, from joesavestheday ordered a painted version, and said he would like it like the pictures on the website, so I need a new one, I've gone for a green one this time, would hopefully blend into the scenery better, and less likely to draw attention.

I've also been creating a new version, this time with the tent flaps open, here is the green before casting.

To complete the piece there is an internal section as well, which I have already cast, and below is the painted version.

Hopefully I can get the tent cast this week, and be able to release it soon, that's all for this post, next time a vehicle, so until then, stay safe and have fun !

Cheers Dave

Nice work on the tents Dave! The tent insert looks really good as well - reminds me of the time I went touring Scotland by motorbike a very long time ago!

    1. Thank you Dai, I'm hoping to do a zombie and victim to go with the open tent as well, as an optional extra.

  4. Its nice of you to share a tent with us on your birthday! I hope you had a good day and enjoyed turning 18 again this year too ;) I really like the open tent quite a bit. You rarely see that and its probably more accurate to see a tent like that instead of all sealed up. I suppose it adds some signs of life to a game which is always a good thing in my book.

    1. Thank you JUeff, should always try to do something you enjoy on your Birthday ! LOL Came so close to getting 18 right last year, but then screwed it up on the final hurdle ! LOL Hopefully I will this year, then I can see what 19 looks like ! LOL With scenery I create I like it to be able to help tell a story, as you can see on the internal, how the person on the right likes everything neat, but the one on the left is a bit more chaotic. Hopefully the next piece I do will add even more ! LOL

  5. I don't know why, probably the colour, but there's a real "The Last of Us" vibe with that tent, Dave. Albeit I would want more than a sheet of cloth between me and some fungi infected zombies. LOL!! Great work.

    1. Thank you Simon, yes it seems to be a common thing in Zombie Apocalypse TV series, there's zombies walking around, and we'll sleep in a tent ! LOL Personally I'd rather have an RV as a better form of somewhere to sleep plus it's always ready to move to another zone ! LOL

  7. Great idea on having the open tent with sleeping bags, Dave! And your tents look a lot more sturdy than the one I made from tin foil LOL!

  8. Those tents are really nice, but you must be crazy for sculpting those tiny tent ties!! The inside is a nice touch too. Great job, Dave!
