It's that time of year again, to dust off those scenery projects, and take part in the annual challenge. The same rules will apply as normal, and for anyone new to the challenge they are as follows :
This can be a new project, or an old one that just needs finishing off, it can be a bought piece, or scratch built, size doesn't matter, so it can be a small scatter piece, or vast rooms, it's all up to you, and as in previous years, I will be accepting vehicles in the challenge as well. If your interested in taking part, leave a comment below, and if yours isn't a blog I follow, then please leave a link in your comment to your blog.
So how long have you got, two whole months, the challenge starts on the 1 st of July, and runs till the 31 st of August. Below are some of the great entries from previous years to inspire you.
Until next time stay safe and have fun !
Cheers Dave
Count me in, Dave! :-) Bits started during last year's challenge still need finishing!
ReplyDeleteGreat to have you on board again John, and I know exactly what you mean as I have a couple from last year myself ! LOL
DeleteI'm totally up for this and have a bunch of stuff planned!
ReplyDeleteGreat to have you on board again Matt, and I'm intrigued to see what Sci-Fi scenery you are planning.
DeleteGood luck with the two month challenge, Dave. I've given myself the next couple of months to paint the Horus Heresy box so I won't be able to enter this year. But I am looking forward to seeing what everyone paints.
ReplyDeleteNo problem Simon, can fully understand with so many miniatures to get done, you shall be missed, but I'm sure everyone will have some terrific scenery to show by the end.
DeleteI would like to join this year Dave, I feel like my terrain always gets neglected. My blog is https://jonhobbydesk.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteGreat to have you on board Jonny, you did a great job on your entries to Monster May(hem) look forward to seeing what you do.
DeleteI'm in, I guess I'm going to have to finish those "Slum Blocks", just a couple of bits of scatter planned too, and as they count I do have a few cars too, that might get in. I'm really more enthusiastic than I sound mate 😁.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck everyone. Cheers Roger.
Great to have you on board again Roger, I'm sure you are enthusiastic it's just the thought of the MDF scenery again ! LOL At least you have a couple of other things planned to break it up for you.
DeleteI'm in, Dave!
ReplyDeleteGreat to have you on board for another year Keith, and I'm looking forward to seeing your pulp Sci-Fi terrain
DeleteSadly, yet another challenge I won't be paricpiating in, but will wish everyone that does do so, good luck. I'll be looking to the ye candy that will undoubtedly follow.
ReplyDeleteNo problem Joe, can fully understand, as you need to be taking it easy at the moment. I'm sure there will be lots of eye candy in store, from this talented bunch.
DeleteGood luck with the challenge! I’ll pass as I’m committed to finishing my dark ages miniatures. Too bad though. I do like making terrain. Next time. 😀
ReplyDeleteSorry for the slow response. I was far and away from the internet.
No problem Stewart, can understand wanting to get your current challenge finished first, and there is always next year.
DeleteI do have some terrain to make but I'm starting up a display piece so I'm not sure if I'll make the deadline or not. I will certainly try to get involved if I can! I can always use motivation to get more terrain done and I need a bit more for my next game of Fallout as well.
ReplyDeleteWould be great to have you on board Jeff, if you find the time, but understand if the display piece stays as your main focus
DeleteThanks again Dave - I'm hoping to get in this again - though with less than a city!
ReplyDeleteGreat to have you on board again Mark, can fully understand not wanting to build a whole other city ! LOL
