PAINT WHAT YOU GOT PAINTING CHALLENGE 2024/2025

Firstly I'd like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, or whichever holiday you celebrate, and hope you all get time to spend with loved ones, and enjoy yourselves.

So it's also that time of year for the next painting challenge, so what counts, everything, it doesn't matter the scale, 6 mm right up to lifesize, and remote control boats as well (that one's for you Roger), it can be single models, units, vehicles, scenery, and everything inbetween. The only criteria is they are completed between 26 of December 2024 and the 28 February 2025, and yes you get over two months to complete, so if you got that model that has been sat on your desk 90% complete and you finish it after the 26 th of this month it counts, but so would a model that you don't start until then, it's all about getting models finished. Here are some of last years entries to inspire you.

If you want to take part, just leave a comment below, and if your blog, isn't one I currently follow, leave a link in your comment, or you can email me directly at wargamesterrainworkshop@yahoo.co.uk and express your interest there.

That's all for today, so until next time, stay safe, and have fun !

Cheers Dave

  3. I don't know what I'll get done during the challenge's timespan but I reckon it will at least be the bust I've started so I'm definitely in. If I can get that done with enough time, I should be able to get some gaming stuff done too as I've got plenty waiting for paint on my hobby desk though I suppose we're all in that boat!

  9. Merry Christmas Dave. Happy New Year (both belated). I have been up to my neck in preparation for upcoming "Convention Season" (as opposed to golf!), so I'm behind on the blog (but hope to catch up on all that's been happening here and around the world. Currently I have 25 games scheduled through April, and expect to have 5-6 more in May. Sooo....count me in on yet another epic Dave Stone challenge!!!!

  10. Well! I see that I already have ....several batches of models that qualify for this one. Previous versions of this challenge have required them to not be new models -are we doing it that way again?
...and if so, what about 3d printed models/terrain where we already had the filament/resin but hadn't yet printed those models? A reasonable argument there either way, I think!
