NON COMBATANTS

One of the things my eldest daughter is always on the look out for me, is models that would be great as civilians to populate either Mos Eisley, or Mos Espa, as that is my ultimate goal to be playing in those realms, and this year she found some excellent ones. The first is a model of Duchess Satine, originally seen in the Clone Wars animated series, but I could use it as a noble woman.

Next is the young Princess Leia with her droid Lola, as seen in the series Obi Wan Kenobi, but I can use her as a child playing in the streets.

Last today is a Nautolan, which is the same species as Kit Fisto who was a Jedi as seen in Episodes 1,2 and 3 and multiple episodes of Clone Wars.

That's all for today, hopefully many more posts to come in 2025, and I'd like to wish you all a happy New Year, so until then, stay safe, and have fun !

THIS ONE'S FOR JOHN

On one of my recent posts John mentioned the Incinerator Trooper seen in season 1 of the Mandalorian, now so far I haven't managed to get a model of this trooper, but I am on the look out for one, and the mortar crew seen in season 2, but I did have another Dewback, which has a flamer option, which I thought would do to paint the colour scheme.

After taking the photos I realised I haven't actually done the weathering on the Stormtrooper, so he will need a touch up before moving to the Imperial Shelf ! LOL

Hope you all have a Very Merry Christmas, so until next time, stay safe and have fun !

PAINT WHAT YOU GOT PAINTING CHALLENGE 2024/2025

Firstly I'd like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, or whichever holiday you celebrate, and hope you all get time to spend with loved ones, and enjoy yourselves.

So it's also that time of year for the next painting challenge, so what counts, everything, it doesn't matter the scale, 6 mm right up to lifesize, and remote control boats as well (that one's for you Roger), it can be single models, units, vehicles, scenery, and everything inbetween. The only criteria is they are completed between 26 of December 2024 and the 28 February 2025, and yes you get over two months to complete, so if you got that model that has been sat on your desk 90% complete and you finish it after the 26 th of this month it counts, but so would a model that you don't start until then, it's all about getting models finished. Here are some of last years entries to inspire you.

If you want to take part, just leave a comment below, and if your blog, isn't one I currently follow, leave a link in your comment, or you can email me directly at wargamesterrainworkshop@yahoo.co.uk and express your interest there.

That's all for today, so until next time, stay safe, and have fun !

RAPID RESPONSE

Now we are not talking me personally, as I seem to be going a lot slower than normal at the moment, but more I now have the first two Air Ambulances are now finished, above you can see the new one following behind the original one I built, but I've updated the paintwork to include the chipping that Iain suggested a while ago, to give each one their own unique look. Below is shots of the new one from all four angles.

As the original model was designed for Scouts, I thought it only fitting that I made the first one for the Scout company, the pilots are the original biker models that GW released, wasn't a massive fan of the sculpts, so thought hiding them in a vehicle might help ! LOL The medic was constructed from multiple sources, the legs were metal scout legs, the torso and head are plastic scout kit, and the apothecary parts came from a Grey Knight kit. My plan is to make each one slightly different mainly on what the apothecary is doing.

That's all for today's post, so until next time, stay safe, and have fun !

THEY'RE FLOCKING THIS WAY

I've made some progress on all the Gnarloc's I want, first is another Great Gnarloc, this one will need a herder to accompany it, but that will have to wait until I get some more Kroot.

Next is the first Gnarloc, as I need a minimum of 5 I'll probably take a cast off this one, and then add the claws, rider, and stowage, so I can make them more individual.

Last today is the last Great Gnarloc I want ( unless I decide I want another with stowage), this one is going to be in full run pose, which is why the lower leg is currently missing as it needs to be reinforced before adding the weight of the body.

That's all for today, who knows next week I may have something painted, or just more greenstuff ! LOL So until next time, stay safe, and have fun !
