MEGA ZOMBIES

Todays offering is a trio of zombies from Mega City 1, zombies in this world are different in that they carry and use weapons, and can also ride bikes. This last bit for me has always been a sticking point, as zombies aren't particularly stable when walking, so being on a bike would be a recipe for disaster in my book, that's why I've put these three on Quad Bikes I produce for my zombies. Now as the riders were produced for different bikes, I had to do a little conversion to get them to fit, but nothing major.

The first one below  is obviously a Judge and so was painted in the relevant colours.

The next one looked to be a Tek Judge to me so I painted him accordingly.

The last one is definitely a dead biker, so I painted his garb accordingly, I also did a few flaws on his bike to add to the biker feel.

This is my last entry for Zomtober/ Apocalypse Me, as I feel the need to paint some Star Wars, also November is the Movember challenge, painting models with facial hair, luckily I got some models to paint this year, so until next time stay safe and have fun !

Cheers Dave

    1. Thank you Joe, in the game they have a necromancer leading them, so she probably stole them ! LOL

    1. Thank you Brian, for the two judges I wanted the bikes to be close to what they would ride as judges in colour, just left off the markings, the biker I got to play a bit more ! LOL

  5. Oh those are truly excellent, Dave. Love the quad bikes and the Judge riders. Is that a zombie version of Spikes Harvey Rotten..? Great stuff, and a great end to your Zomtober/Apocalypse Me challenge. Looking forward to seeing your Mo'Vember stuff too.

    1. Thank you Simon, luckily I produce the quads for my own zombie bikers, the biker models were part of the Mongoose Kickstarter and were sculpted and produced by Warlord games. I think the biker was based off the character Gestapo Bob, that was the first gang that Dredd took down after the Cal Wars. I was lucky to get a few models for my birthday that all had face hair, otherwise I was going to have to sculpt some facial hair on models ! LOL

  7. What will those zombies do next!? These gave me a laugh as well and are a pretty cool idea. Your participation across all of the challenges is to be commended as well. Some people haven't made a lousy contribution to a single one, if you can believe it!

    1. Thank you Jeff, glad you enjoyed them, can't take credit for the idea, just the quad bikes as I thought they were more stable for a zombie. I did miss Dreadtober, so didn't make all of them ! LOL Challenges are just there to help people get models painted, and if you can do world class dioramas without challenges, I wouldn't worry mate.

  8. Nicely done mate, it's funny how different systems have more or less co-ordinated Zombies 😁 anybody would think they were fictitious or something!

Smashing Quad bikes, I'll have to have a look at those over on your site. Didn't see and "flaws" in your baker version? but did notice some rather nicely done flames though 😉.

    Cheers Roger.

  9. Absolutely love these, Dave! I laughed at the idea of a bunch of zombies bombing around on quad bikes :--) As usual they look great and the bikes are really well done, right down to the dents on the last one!

    1. Thank you Matt, in one of the comic stories they actually talked as well, and had basically carried on with their old gang lifestyle but as zombies, they were also a lot harder to kill as head shots didn't stop them ! LOL

    1. Thank you Dai, the only story I recall was in ABC Warriors on Mars, so the game designer may have just shoehorned this idea into Mega City 1 ! LOL
