For my second Monster May(hem) entry I've painted the first of two Great Gnarloc's that I showed the green's of earlier in the year, I have to say I love the pose on this one, and I've photographed it with it's herder for scale.
Painting wise I went a shade or two darker just to keep adding variation to them all, one more to go and then then I'll have a total of six of these fantastic beasts, and I'll try and remember to do a group shot when it's done. That's all for today, so until next time, stay safe, and have fun !
Cheers Dave
It looks menacing as the other ones, but... six?? That's full herd! (I don't know if Gnarloc herds have a special noun, but it feels appopiate, hmmm)
ReplyDeleteThank you Suber, was very pleased with the look, got an idea for a scenario, the six Gnarloc's moving as a caravan, come under attack, and have to wait for reinforcements to arrive. A herd works, or as they are descended from birds it could be a flock, or maybe even a gaggle like geese ! LOL
DeleteVery Jurassic Park TRex feel to this big badboi. Love it mate.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely looking forward to that group shot!
Thank you Dai, as I didn't need to make it castable, was really able to push the pose as hard as I wanted !LOL
DeleteHoping I can get them all in one shot as there is a lot and they are pretty big ! LOL
Looks great! I agree with Dai, kinda like a blue T rex. 😁
ReplyDeleteThank you Stewart, who knows maybe they were blue ! LOL
DeleteExcellent looking monster!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Thank you Iain, fun to do.
DeleteLovely model, wouldn't have guessed it was sculpted if I hadn't originally seen the greens!
ReplyDeleteThank you SD, that is high praise indeed.
DeleteThat's a lovely looking beastie. Brilliantly sculpted, and the purple is great; gives it a sort of bruised look. Nice.
ReplyDeleteI said it before, but definitely "Krootilicious".
Thank you misterc, the purple is night blue, which does have a hint of purple to it, especially the new bottle I got ! LOL
DeleteOne more to go later today.
