TWO FOR MOVEMBER

This months challenge was to paint some models with facial hair, now I admit I don't have a lot of models with facial hair, but luckily there was two in the Rebel Pathfinder box set I got for my birthday.

First up is Bistan an alien seen in the film Rogue One, who has quite a lot of facial hair, tried to match the colours of the reference picture above.

The second model is a human pathfinder, couldn't find an exact match for him in the film, so used the same palette colour choices you see.

That's all for this post and challenge, and thank you to Simon, and Roger for hosting it. Next time will probably be some more pathfinders, as I have another four in the box set, and I'm also working on a vehicle for them to get around in, so until next time stay safe and have fun !

Cheers Dave

  1. Great stuff, Dave. Lovely paint-jobs and models. I really like Bistan. Definitely a posting I'll be returning to once I start working on my own SW Legion stuff next year :-)

  3. Bistan is a great choice! His wife simian features are a fun design element and your paint job highlights the details well. Good stuff mate

    1. Thank you Matt, had to use a few washes as filters to get the right colour scheme, but was worth it, there are some truly great models in the set.

  10. These guys both look great. I have to ask - are you planning on painting (and sculpting where needed) every seen Star Wars character at this stage?

    1. Thank you Azazel, don't think I will do every single character, but it certainly seems like a large proportion of them ! LOL
