THREE'S A CROWD

While I've been busy trying to finish the last of my Christmas presents, I have finished off a set of three models that have been sat on my desk for far too long, the herders for my Salamander. The models were originally the second edition herders that were updated with greenstuff to look more like the current versions.

Below is the GW latest version, I had to change the weapons to match the current ones, and also add the backplates to bring them inline. That's all for today, so until next time, stay safe, and have fun !

Cheers Dave

  1. Your skinks came out great! Did you make the feather banner as well? I like the look of it.

I think I prefer the longitudinal crest to the modern one.

though how 3 smaller lizards would actually be able to herd a larger more dangerous lizard I don't understand...😁

    1. Thank you Mr. Martin, I actually found the colour scheme on Google images by tapping in Dimetrodon the prehistoric creature that looks very similar to the GW Salamander, and then tried replicating it, wasn't 100 % but was happy with the end result.

  7. Very nice work on the latest dinos, Dave! I will give GW credit that the new version has a pretty cool looking banner as well. Not that you can go wrong with a feathered one of course!

    1. Thank you Jeff, this is one of the better ones I've seen, but I decided a nod to Sotek which is why they have the red marking would fit my guys, and as you say, can't go wrong with feathers ! LOL
