EVERYONE SCATTER

 Carrying on with all the Kroot I currently have, I have finished the scatter gun squad, you may remember I did 5 quite a while ago, even though it's not in GW rules as a squad, but since when did I follow the rules ! LOL The first 3 are made following the instructions from the Kill Team boxset.

These next two are Kill Team bodies but Scatter Guns from the Carnivore box set.

The next 3 have got there pistol and blades out and scatter guns sheathed.

These last two are Kill Team weapons, on Kill Team bodies that don't normally have them.

I had fun with the conversions using parts from both Kroot kits, but there is a couple of things that have become apparent, the locating lugs or lack of them on the Kill Team kit is poor, also the detail on both sets of sculpts compared to the original kit is really shallow especially in the face detail, both of these are probably due to them being 3D sculpted, for a seasoned hobbyist, it shouldn't be too much of a problem, but may cause problems for people new to the hobby, or with physical impairments. TOOK A WHILE

 These are my first completed models since the 4 th of July, bit slow for me, but hopefully I can start to remedy that going forward. First up today is a Kroot Trail Shaper, this will be part of a shaper court I do.

The model itself was a recent Birthday present, I still think that £25 for a single figure is too expensive, no matter how nice the model is. Stuck with my normal color scheme.

The next four models are additions to one of my existing squads, three of the models came from the Killteam box, and the fourth from a Carnivore box, trying to make each squad have a mix of these two boxes, and the original Carnivore set.

The launcher is only shown with running models in the instructions, but as this squad is more static I used one of the standing bodies. the only other conversion, was the bird on the rifle, as that's designed for another model, but I liked it !  If you don't know the above quote it comes from Deadpool 1, when Wade started his treatment, as he fought his cancer, so I felt was quite fitting at this moment, as my treatment is going well, have had the first two courses with no adverse side effects (although still waiting for my super powers to kick in ! LOL) with the very long list I was given to look out for, I think I'm doing well.

A huge thank you to all who have left me comments, sent me emails, and left messages on their own blogs, really helped me through a very difficult time, I've been pretty much bed ridden, since I left hospital, until this week, but continue to improve each day, so hopefully will now start commenting on your blogs again from now moving forward. Talking of blogs I will be doing the Season of Scenery roundup soon, as I wait for any last posts for the extended edition to go up (if you don't know what I mean, you'll have to wait for the roundup ! LOL)

I have an update on my hand as well, apparently I've damaged a nerve in my elbow, just waiting to see what the next step is which should be the beginning of November, so will keep you updated as I find out.

In my last post I mentioned I was having a downstairs bathroom fitted, which has now been completed, and making life much easier, as I haven't been able  to use stairs for a long time. here are some pictures

Not the most interesting of pictures, so hopefully will have more interesting ones in future posts, as I have started to get back into my painting, it's been a long slow road. My wife got me Kroot models for when I got out of hospital, and it took me over a month just to put them together, 10 minutes here, then the next 10 minutes might be 4 days away ! LOL Luckily this week I've actually managed two days painting for a couple of hours so hopefully will have something cool to show you next week, so until then, stay safe, and have fun !
