JAWA NEW

I've been busy over the weekend, trying to get the next seller area finished, this is another Jawa selling parts, and has a bigger selection from the first one I showed the last time.

As you can see above I used the Jawa I got recently with the scrap on his back, he seemed to fit being a seller well. Below is a clearer shot of the scrap in this section.

A lot of the bits came out of my spares box, and some were 3D casting bits that were removed from some of the vehicles I've got in the past.

Below is a overhead shot, which shows the two covers to help block out the extreme suns.

Below is a shot from the other end, showing the Moisture vaporators, and you can see a power droid in the shade, who knows if it works or not ! LOL

Last today I also made the awning for the front of the shop at the same time as the other two shown above, this was more complicated being arched but happy with the results.

That's all for todays post, so until next time, stay safe, and have fun !

Cheers Dave

    1. Thank you SD, I went a little rough on the sculpting to add a battered and used look, rather than show room perfect, so glad that paid off ! LOL

  7. Excellent looking scrap there, Dave. It isn't a sexy addition but it is an important one as it makes the area looked lived in. The moisture vaporators look great too. You gotta have those if you want to survive the twin suns! :)

    1. Thank you Jeff, as you say an important element, I actually find scrap piles hard to do, because of the randomness needed ! LOL Indeed Tatooine is full of them, really must get round to getting the supply box that has them in, would save me a lot of time ! LOL

All nicely done, Dave! :-) I must be sad as my favourite bit is the vaporator!

    1. Thank you John, the vaporator is very iconic to Star Wars, so can fully understand it being your favourite, just like the domes on the roof's on Tatooine.

  9. Love it! What I just typed about little details goes for the Jawa's stall doubly so!

    1. Thank you Azazael, it sometimes pays to hoard all these spare bits and bobs, like here, only had to make a few custom pieces that I could easily spot in the picture, to give it the right feel.
