ACTION'S SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS

I decided to get some character models this month for Star Wars, the models shown today are 3D prints I ordered at the beginning of the month, and turned up on Friday, the first model today is a representation of NED-B the loader droid from the Obi Wan Kenobi series, who was a rebel. Loaders aren't given the ability to speak, hence their actions speak louder, would have liked it without the gun, but it will do for the docking area on my Tatooine board.

Next today is another KX enforcer droid, to add to my collection, this brings my total up to 4 for the Empire, and after seeing them in action in Andor season 2, they should make an effective unit.

Last today is Azmorigan, who is a Jablogian that appears in the cartoon series Star Wars Rebels, he is a smuggler and scoundrel, always looking to make more credits, and occasionally works with Hondo Onaka, but generally not to be trusted by his actions. His character actually comes from some of the early designs for Jabba the Hutt.

Here is a group shot to show their different sizes.

I've got some more characters to paint as well, while still sculpting more pod racers and other characters, so until next time, stay safe, and have fun !

Cheers Dave

  1. Those are some superb sculpts, Dave, and your paint-jobs have definitely done them justice. NED-B is the stand-out figure for me (though I've never heard of him until now). But they're all wonderfully pigmented in my books.

    1. Thank you Simon, NED-B had quite a big role in the series, especially as he didn't speak, and another type of robot to add to the collection, the one I most wanted to get done was Azmorigan, as he was a big part of the Rebels cartoon.

  3. Love the paintwork on these super cool figs. Azmorigan is my fav though - love that character in Rebels. So annoying in the series and James Hong's voice acting really makes the character stand out.

    1. Thank you Dai, everything about the character was perfect, disgusting, annoying, grating on the audience, and the voice was what it needed.

  4. Brilliant. Especially the droids. You've done a great paint job on them.
    Presumably these are resin?

    1. Thank you misterc, yes all 3 are 3D printed resin, which is why I didn't remove the gun on NED-B as sometimes it can shatter.
