LET'S GET THE PARTY STARTED

So today I have some models that were finished before the challenge, then I have some finished today, and also some models for a different challenge, so a bit of everything ! LOL Let's start with the pre challenge models, all four I received for my birthday, they just took me a while to get finished, first I have the customizable Imperial officer and agent, both come with multiple head and arm choices, and have both male and female head options, I felt the officer had more of a female feel in the chest area so gave her a female head, and the agent a male head.

Next up I have the customizable rebel officer and agent, again these came with many head and weapon options, I went with two alien heads a Nautoloid and a Togruta, which gave me some different colors to play with, while using my standard colors for the clothing.

Now we move onto my first challenge models, this model I started before my illness earlier in the year, but took me until now to feel comfortable enough to finish it, a model of Huyang that my son got for me as a thankyou, for helping get to uni and back, very kind of him.

The next model was a Christmas present from my older children, that arrived early, but got finished today, the Daughter of the Force, I've kept the colors similar to that character, but will be using it as a vendor for the clothes shop behind the cantina.

The last painted model today is the High Magistrate Greef Karga who was played by the late Carl Weathers, my daughter thought the model was cool with the little robots holding the cloak, and I have to agree. There is still two more from my older children to come, but they will take a bit longer.

Last today is an entry for Ann's model construction challenge which I decided to take part in, as I normally get models for Christmas, the above models didn't count as they were built before the challenge started, but today I have a Librarian Consul, a Mk IV Tech Marine, and a Saurus Astrolith Bearer, the two marines came from the Horus Heresy range, which still work scale wise with the older marine models, and were resin kits, the Saurus was a plastic.

That's all for today, so until next time, stay safe, and have fun !

Cheers Dave

These are all excellent, Dave, but I particularly like Greef Karga! :-) I knew you'd have stuff finished today to post and it's a good start to the challenge!

    1. Thank you John, he was probably the most challenging to do, but the most rewarding as well, painted all the underside before gluing him to his base to make life easier ! LOL After the last challenge, wanted to start this one properly ! LOL

    1. Thank you Dai, he would double well for Callus, I think it's Atomic Mass way of covering multiple characters while the redo all the kits from Fantasy Flight.
We have an understanding in my house where I conveniently leave a list in a certain area for my wife to find, so they can find the right thing ! LOL She most have been secretly listening or reading your blog ! LOL

  7. Nobody looks better than your kids on this blog, Dave. They're always getting you cool minis it seems like so they must be a good bunch!

Its great to see some Star Wars stuff from you whether its Imperial scum or Carl Weathers! Everything looks great and further builds out your impressive collection. One day you'll end up in the Guinness Book of World Records, I reckon.

I will be excited to see you paint up that Saurus Bannerman down the road. That is a great looking mini and its one worth taking your time and giving it your best, I reckon!

I will always return to my Star Wars project, just sometimes have to wait for the next purchase or present to have something to paint ! LOL

  8. Wow, what a nice collection of stuff you've painted. I like the Daughter of the Force miniature and what you did with her hair. I like the robe on the Karga miniature as well, and of course I'm thrilled to see you've already got something together for the assembly challenge. :)
