On one of my recent posts Frank asked about opposition for my warriors, I've been pondering this for a long time, as I could do some of the opposition from their Mars adventures, or Imperial Rottweilers from the Khronicles of Khaos, or the might of Termight from Nemesis the Warlock, I've decided to start with Termight. First and foremost would be Torquemada, so I've started work on him in full armour, but have finished his ghostly spirit form first. There were several different versions of his spirit, but this was my favourite version
Thinking in gaming terms, that if the human form is killed, then the spirit form manifests at the same spot, physically unable to effect the opposition but can animate any dead terminators to continue fighting, when in spirit form, is only able to be hurt by psychic attacks.
That's all for this post, as I finish the humans and slug on the table, so until next time stay safe and have fun !
Cheers Dave
Awesome sauce, Dave. Torquemada looks excellent. First rate sculpting imho.
ReplyDeleteThank you Simon, even though he may look complex, he was a very easy sculpt, and made in only two evenings
DeleteLovely looking thingy, useful for lots of scenarios.
ReplyDeleteThank you John, I can certainly see it’s versatility

DeleteAn unexpected addition to your collection, but one that's a spot on representstion of the character. Brilliant work, Dave!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jez, was bored watching TV so just started sculpting and out he popped ! LOL
DeleteSuperb bit of sculpting there Dave, very delicate, I am mightily impressed.
ReplyDeleteOh he's also rather cool! Cheers Roger.
Thank you Roger, it's amazingly stable and strong even though he looks delicate (dropped him twice already) ! LOL
DeleteThat;s one unsettling model and a perfect rendition of his ghostly form. I remeber being wierded out by this (not scared - honest injun) when I first read the strip.
ReplyDeleteThank you Joe, I remember when I first saw this, that I spent a long time looking how the artist used actual anatomy while morphing it to look both natural and unnatural at the same time, which was no small feat
DeleteExcellent work again - the sculpt is spot on and the paintjob is great. Nice one!
ReplyDeleteThank you Matt, it's nice when a crazy idea works out ! LOL
DeleteA truly gruesome looking model Dave & a cool start to the force, i also like the rules idea :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Frank, he certainly won't be winning any beauty contest's ! LOL Wanted rules that reflected the storyline and this seemed to fit
