Yes it's that time of year to start the next challenge, for anyone not familiar with this challenge it's all about getting models finished, so it doesn't matter if it the model is almost finished or brand new from a box you got for Christmas it's about finishing part of your hoard of models ! LOL Everything counts, single models entire armies ( probably talking smaller scales on that) scenery vehicles, if it's a model in your collection it counts, and whatever scale you prefer as well. The start date is the 26 th of December 2025, until the 28th of February 2026. Just in case you need some inspiration here are some of last years entries :
Hope you can join in and take part, even if it is only one model, it's an achievement, if you want to take part, leave a comment below, or email me at wargamesterrainworkshop.co.uk if I don't currently follow your blog, please leave a link to your blog. All that remains is to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, or whichever holiday you celebrate, so until next time, stay safe, and have fun !Cheers Dave
I love your enthusiasm and how you carry us all with it! I don't have any defined plans, but for sure I'll be painting whatever I got!
ReplyDeleteThank you Suber, I do what I can ! LOL, and great to have you on board.
DeleteCount me in! The last one was great fun.
ReplyDeleteI'm not short of stuff to paint, the difficulty is choosing something
Thanks for organising this.
Great to have you on board for another year.
DeleteI'm doing the analouge painting challenge but I'm sure I'll have a unit to finish off, so count me in!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
No problem Iain, with how it has to shown on the blog first it would be hard to include them elsewhere, but great to have you on board.
DeleteHow did you know I had more Battletech to paint? Oh right the blog! I am in, hopefully i can take a sizable dent out of the pile of opportunity.
ReplyDeleteGreat to have you on board Jonny, look forward to seeing what you get done this time.
DeleteAnother plan and pledge to paint.... "something" before Challenge's end. Might even post pics too. :) Cheers Dave.
ReplyDeleteGreat to have you on board Dai, I have faith in your ability to contribute mate ! LOL
DeleteYou can definitely count on me this year! Since I'm trying to wrap up a display project before Christmas, I think there's reason to think I might focus on some gaming stuff and actually get a few things done for the challenge which will be a nice contrast from last year.
ReplyDeleteGreat to have you on board Jeff, shall miss your display pieces in this challenge, but look forward to seeing your gaming pieces that are on the same level in my opinion.
DeleteThanks for hosting the challenge again Dave, I'll definitely contribute something again!
ReplyDeleteGreat to have you on board snapfit, wouldn't be the same without you.
DeleteI'm in, hopefully it'll kick start a more productive year than 25! All the best mate.
ReplyDeleteCheers Roger.
Great to have you on board Roger, I'm hoping to get more done than the last challenge I ran ! LOL
Deleteohh dang another year, another challenge.
ReplyDeleteI really had fun last time doing this even though it was my first time.
I'll have to see what I can do for the challenge this time.
Great to have you on board again Mr. Martin and seeing all those MOTU models.
DeleteHi Dave, your painting challenge is a great idea. Mister C has persuaded me to take part although I am not sure what I will paint yet. My own blog can be found at: https://thewarcrow.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteWelcome Bodvoc, thanks for the link, makes it much easier to find, still trying to solidify what I'm going to paint myself ! LOL

ReplyDeleteCount me in, Dave! :-) I've dropped behind a bit on painting so could do with a challenge to get me moving again! I'm thinking it'll probably be mostly Victorian sci-fi stuff bt I could easily be wrong about that!
ReplyDeleteGreat to have you on board for another year John, look forward to seeing the Sci-fi stuff or whatever else you get done.
DeleteHi Dave I am doing Ahpc again - have gathered lots of “not started” stuff some from ahpc15 and even ahpc14! Needless to say ditto applies for “paint what you got”, so I will try again to weave them together. I am hoping to get some volume done as unlike the last two ahpc’s I have no plans for scratch built space ships, Nissan huts or aeroplane building, bang in the middle of these challenges! So I do have a nice range of half started, half finished and almost finished figures begging to be part of this challenge. Lorenzo the wargaming erratic
ReplyDeleteGreat to have you on board again Lorenzo, good luck with your AHPC challenge as well, and look forward to seeing what bits you get finished for this challenge.
DeleteAs I've been shockingly lax in doing anything hobby-related the tail end of this year, I think this is the incentive I need to actually finish off all those part completed projects staring at me accusingly from my bookcase. Count me in, Dave!
ReplyDeleteGreat to have you on board Jez, and if the challenge helps get some models finished, it's done it's job.
